The final lessons of 2025 will be the weekend of 13/14 December 2025.
All lessons will resume on the weekend 10/11 January 2026.
Stages 1 - 5 are taught at American School in London (ASL)
Saturday & Sunday lessons taught between 13:45 - 15:45 for £27 / 30 minute lesson. The age range for this offer is 4-10yrs. Swimmers may join swimming lessons the month they turn 4yrs but must leave the programme or move onto the Mallinson offer if older than 10yrs* (as of 30 June 2026).
Stages 5 - 8 are taught at Mallinson Sports Centre (Highgate School)
Sunday lessons taught between 13:00 - 16:00 for £34 / 45 minute lesson or £27 / 30 minute lesson. As with ASL, swimmers joining the 30 minute lesson may be no older than 10yrs* (as of 30 June 2026)/ Swimmers may be up to 12yrs* (as of 30 June 2026) to be eligible to access the 45 minutes lessons.
*Swimmers must be under the upper age limit by 30 June 2026 to be able to register into the programme (e.g. swimmers may not be/turn 10 or 12 during the 2025/26 season). The upper age restrictions needed to be introduced in the 2025-26 season. This decision has not been taken lightly, we acknowledge this may be disappointing.
Helpful Information/FAQs:
- CSCSC delivers mixed stages, small group lessons, up to 5 swimmers. We cannot offer private/1:1 lessons or further bespoke requests (e.g. trials or one off assessments).
- When you register your swimmer into an available place, you will pay a £5 L2S membership fee and receive an email receipt (confirming the class, time and closed dates). Your swimmer is to attend the next scheduled lesson - CSCSC will not write to new members (beyond the automated confirmation email) to confirm the start date. No fees are paid when a swimmer is registered to the waitlist.
- The SE Motion App (Apple Store / Google Play) can assist with tracking your swimmer's attendance, progress and to update your payment information.
- Learn to Swim/Swimming Lessons queries should be sent to the Stages Co-ordinator ([email protected]) - please do not contact the pools as our small team are not based at these locations.
Important Dates: Lessons will run from the weekend of 6/7 September 2025 and continue until 11/12 July 2026. Memberships cease on the final day of lessons - there are no auto-renewal options available for L2S members.
Fees: Accounts are invoiced and the card stored on the account is charged on the 1st of the month, based on the number of lessons in the calendar month.
Assessments: Any teacher assessments or movements recommended by the Stages Co-ordinator will be communicated to parents at the end of every half term (approx. 6-7 weeks). Swimmers moving from Stage 5 at ASL to Stage 6 will have to change pools (to Mallinson) in order to continue swimming in the programme.
Cancellations/Closures/Catch-ups: If CSCSC cancels lessons, affected member accounts will be credited for cancelled lessons. As CSCSC does not operate the pools it hires, if the pool closes, we will communicate this as soon as the club is notified. Our programme consistently operates at capacity, therefore we are unable to accommodate catch-up/make up lessons.
