Introduction

Since an initial change in 2018, the squad structure and supporting criteria has served the club and Its members well. For the club to continue to provide the best service possible we feel it is time to take the logical next step and progress our offer with a system that will continue to help our members thrive at CSCSC.

Key changes to the club structure include:

-                  Our competitive section has been split into two squads of the same age range, (Sprint & Mid/Distance) which will enable us to tailor our programme to a wider range of swimmers. This will give our members more opportunity to continue swimming in a focussed squad retaining engagement within our competitive section for longer whilst giving swimmers the best chance to progress into our performance squads.

-          What was once competitive bronze and performance bronze is now two squads of our best 10-13 year olds. These will be separated into Junior Potential Boys and Junior Potential Girls. The reason for splitting the groups by gender is needs based. We will be able to deliver a more focussed approach to the development of each group and tailor the training at the appropriate levels.

Mission Statement 

Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club aims to set the standard in London competitive swimming while establishing itself as an elite programme in British Swimming. From our performance squads to our learn to swim program and our celebrated Masters squad, our individually designed programmes and professional coaching encourage the development of character and self-discipline. These qualities are forged through the combination of creativity, hard work and the focus on our athlete’s disciplined pursuit of excellence.
