Swimmers are expected to be at sessions 15 minutes before and 10 minutes after sessions to complete pre/post pool 

Squad Criteria

All swimmers/parents entering the CSCSC programme will be expected to:

  • Embody ‘The Camden Values’ and adhere to the club's policies
  • Be proactive in communicating with coaching staff around
    • Absence
    • Tardiness
    • School / Family commitments
    • Exam periods (agree a plan of action)
    • Commit fully to the expectations of the squad you are invited too.

Age Group Performance is the first point of the performance pathway. Swimmers will be aiming for regional success and national qualification.

  • 13-15 (Age at end of season target meet)
  • Squad size of up to 22 (Coach discretion as to whether or not to go above or below)
  • Invite based on highest World Aquatics Points
  • Minimum attendance of 90% at agreed session schedule
  • Swimmers must fully commit to the competition plan provided by the squad coach at the start of each season.
  • 100% commitment to the club's league fixtures (Arena League A or B Team)
  • 100% commitment to Regional / National relay selection

Exit Criteria

Performance Squads:

  • Consistently scoring in the unacceptable range in the ‘process of review’
  • Attendance under 90%
  • Not adhering to the competition schedule laid out by the lead coach
  • Competition Performance falling consistently below your World Aquatic points score
  • Swimmers not meeting the criteria for the Performance Squads will be moved to either Competitive Sprint or Mid/Distance.
